Prosecco is one of the hotest wines on the market, and for good reason. It’s reasonably priced, fruity, bubbly, and delicious! As a broad category Prosecco can be broken down into two smaller classifications: DOC and DOCG. The DOCs generally come from a broader area, are less expensive, and usually simpler in style. DOCGs can be considered more special bottles with more complex favors. Use DOCs for mimosas, Bellinis, and other cocktails; sip the DOCGs on their own as you would Champagne.
A light, pretty Prosecco with versatility for both everyday drinking and as a cocktail ingredient. On the nose it is floral with a hint of...marshmallow? Really nicely balanced, with good zip and fun bubbles, I like this Prosecco for its clean and creamy flavors all the way through to the finish. It's an Extra Dry style, so still retains a hint of sweetness, but this is balanced out by it's crisp acidity.
